Pilgrim's Blessing in the City of St. Gallen
It is possible to receive a pilgrim’s blessing daily in St. Gallen Cathedral. On Sunday, also in the Protestant church of St. Laurenzen.
Practical procedure, no reservation necessary.
At the beginning of the service, place your rucksack in front of the front pew as a sign to the priest or minister or for the chaplain.
Cathedral
In the cathedral, place the backpack in front of the first pew as a sign of the wish for a pilgrim's blessing. After the service, the priest/chaplain will award the personal blessing.

Camino Santiago
From Munich or Augsburg to Bregenz or Lindau. From Bregenz via Rheineck to Rorschach. From Lindau by ferry to Rorschach.
Section 1 from Rorschach to St. Gallen. From there via Wattwil to Einsiedeln, Flüeli-Ranft, Interlaken, Fribourg, Geneva.
Columban Way
Coming from Ireland via France to Basel, Zurich, Tuggen, Wattwil, Flawil, Herisau, St. Gallen.
From St. Gallen on to Arbon, Bregenz, Chur, Chiavenna, Bobbio (Italy).
Via Francisca
Coming from Constance to St. Gallen.
Continue to Chur, Lukmanier Pass to Pavia and Rome.

15 minutes by walking you need from the railway station of St.Gallen to the pilgrim hostel.
The route starts in Rorschach or St.Gallen and leads through Switzerland to Geneva.
It is through Switzerland is signposted as “Via Jacobi” with blue-green stickers on yellow signposts and the number 4.
